Maciej Albinowski

economist

Maciej holds PhD in economics (Warsaw School of Economics). Maciej’s current research investigates factors that foster inclusivity in the labour market. In a project funded by the National Science Centre (2022-2023), he analyses the origins of minimum hours constraints and their impact on the labour market participation of older workers.

Before joining the IBS, Maciej worked at Poland’s Ministry of Finance, conducting econometric analyses using administrative data.

When he’s not working, Maciej enjoys reading historical fiction (favourite author: Conn Iggulden), playing strategy games, and raising future astronauts.
