

PhD in economics (Warsaw School of Economics). In 2014-2019 Maciej worked at the Poland’s Ministry of Finance, where he conducted econometric analyses with the use of administrative data. His research areas included labour market, tax incentives and export competitiveness. He is a co-author of World Bank’s reports. Prior to joining the Ministry, Maciej worked at the Ernst & Young Chief Economist team.
At the Institute for Structural Research, his work focuses on minimum wage effects and on structural changes on European labour markets.
In his free time he reads historical fiction (favourite author: Conn Iggulden), plays strategy games and sings to his children.
