Spotkanie "Realising climate ambition and just energy transition in Central Eastern Europe" w Brukseli zorganizowane zostało w ramach inicjatywy EUKI (Europäische Klimaschutzinitiative).

Wydarzenie składało się z serii warsztatów i spotkań z przedstawicielami Komisji Europejskiej. Spotkania dotyczyły polityki klimatyczno-energetycznej w kontekście kryzysów ostatnich lat, a w szczególności wzrostów cen energii spowodowanych rosyjską agresją na Ukrainę. W ramach spotkań z przedstawicielkami i przedstawicielami DG CLIMA omawiano konsekwencje pakietów “Fit for 55” i “REPowerEU” dla Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Spotkanie pozwoliło wzmocnić dialog między organizacjami społeczeństwa obywatelskiego, w tym inicjatywą EUKI, z regionu Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej a decydentami w Brukseli.
