W IBS-ie trwają prace nad nową metodologią.

Nasz Instytut – we współpracy z Uniwersytetem Sussex, Politechniką Federalna w Zurychu (ETH), instytutami JIN i BC3 – tworzy nową metodologię mająca na celu zaangażowanie interesariuszy i ekspertów spoza grona akademickiego do budowania i rozwoju modeli naukowych służących ocenie wpływu polityki klimatycznej. Zaangażowanie ekspertów pozwoli dostosować modele do analizy najważniejszych problemów związanych z projektowaniem polityki klimatycznej i energetycznej. Jako model testowy nowej metodologii posłużył nam makroekonomiczny model IBS.

Testy przeprowadziliśmy wiosną 2016 roku w czasie warsztatów w Atenach. Opis metodologii natomiast zaprezentowany został Komisji Europejskiej w dokumencie pt. „Komplementarność jakościowych i ilościowych narzędzi analitycznych”.
