Research assistant – job offer

We are offering a post for research assistant in an international research project „Gender norms and labour market outcomes”. The application deadline is: October 31, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.

The Institute for Structural Research is looking for a PhD student interested in labour economics, social policy and gender equality, with experience in microeconomic data analysis/ in micro-econometrics

Tasks:

  • Data analysis
  • Literature reviews
  • Support in drafting research papers
  • Presenting research results

Requirements:

  • PhD student with experience in data analysis and research, preferably in labour economics
  • good command of statistical software (STATA, R)
  • proficiency (C1) in English (knowledge of Polish is not necessary).
  • Part-time appointment (15-20 hours weekly).

Conditions of employment

We offer an employment contract or a civil contract. Appointment for 18 months. Monthly salary: 2.500 PLN. The position starts in November /December 2023.

The candidate will be selected through a competition in accordance with the rules for granting scholarships by the National Science Center, Poland).
