Documentation from qualitative research

September 9 2026
The documentation from qualitative research includes anonymised materials from 61 interviews and meetings conducted between 2023 and 2025. The research explored, among other issues, housing cooperatives’ strategies for responding to the energy transition and rising energy prices, power relations within these organisations, and their relationships with other institutional actors.

The study involved representatives of housing cooperatives and key stakeholders in housing and energy policy in Poland and Czechia. The dataset can provide a valuable resource for further research on housing, the energy transition, and collective forms of governance in multi-apartment buildings. The full qualitative materials are available under restricted access due to the ethical and methodological considerations associated with qualitative research and the potential risk of identifying participants.
