Everyone needs tech skills, not just youth

In a new World Bank blog post, Piotr Lewandowski (IBS), Radhicka Kapoor (ICRIER) and Siddhartha Raja (WB) explain who benefits and who suffers from technological change in the labour market.

According to IBS studies, the current focus on youth preparation for the labour market entrance should be diverted also to the updating of skills of previous workers. It is the older workers who may experience difficulties in adjustment to technological change.  (read it)
