Faces of joblessness – understanding barriers to higher employment and activity

We kindly invite you for the seminar organised by our Institute and the European Commission Representation in Poland – June 18th.

various employment barriers in Poland and Europe. Speakers will include: Herwig Immervoll (OECD), Rafał Janas (DG EMPL), Iga Magda (IBS, SGH) and Paweł Kubicki (SGH). In the second part of the seminar we will discuss the potential effective policy response, with a particular focus on Poland. Panellists will include: academics, representatives of central and local governments and NGOs: Lech Antkowiak (Warsaw Labour Office), Piotr Błędowski (SGH), Ewa Flaszyńska (MRPiPS), Cezary Miżejewski (WRZOS).

The seminar will be held in the European Commission Representation Office in Poland (Jasna Str. 14/16a, Warsaw) at 18th of June between 9:30 AM and 1:15 PM. The seminar will be held in Polish and English, with simultaneous translation provided.
