People with disabilities who apply for jobs in Poland receive positive responses from employers less often than non-disabled candidates with the same qualifications and experience. According to our research, the difference ranges from 27% to 32%.
To reduce these inequalities, it is essential to take action to address stereotypes and prejudices among employers, remove architectural and transport-related barriers, and provide financial support for adapting workplaces to the needs of people with disabilities.
The project is funded by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) (Agreement No.: BEA/000080/BF/D).
