Sun4All

realization time: 12.2023 – 06.2024

The project’s main objective is to set the strategic ground for the performance of the commitment made by the City of Warsaw to support, develop, and replicate the results of the Sun4All project. Based on four pilot models of using solar energy to reduce electricity consumption, tested in four cities (Almada, Barcelona, Cœur de Savoie, Rome), our technical consultancy ordered by ICLEI Europe results in a roadmap for how to implement these solutions in Warsaw housing cooperatives and municipal multi-family buildings.

In the project, we will:

  • characterise the potential of PV uptake in multi-family buildings in housing cooperatives and municipal buildings in Warsaw
  • define barriers and advantages of specific Sun4All solutions
  • identify optimal settlement models for local energy communities, particularly for people in energy poverty.
