The model serves ax-ante evaluation of the effects of climate and energy policies on the economy and greenhouse gas emissions. The training was attended by employees of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment, the Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, the University of Chile in Santiago and the University of Cape Town. The model will be used in further work on energy and climate policy plans elaborated by Chilean government, including the preparation of the position of Chile for this year’s COP22 in Paris.
