Jakub Sokolowski presented research and a new IBS project at international conferences.

Jakub Sokołowski presented a research paper titled “Peer Effects and Inequalities in Technology Uptake. Evidence from a Large-Scale Renovation Subsidy Programme” at the 41st United States Association for Energy Economics Conference in Baton Rouge (3-6.11.2024). The study explored how peer effects and economic inequalities influence technology adoption in the context of energy transition.

At the 4th International Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) Conference in Barcelona (15-16.10.2024), Jakub Sokołowski presented the LOCATEE and CARE projects. These initiatives support municipalities in combating energy poverty by retrofitting multi-family buildings. The conference highlighted innovative solutions and fostered experience sharing, emphasizing the pivotal role of local communities in promoting a just energy transition.
