All representatives of the gathered project are working toward a common goal: supporting young people who face barriers in the labour market and helping them build the skills they need for the future. Representatives of the NEVI-EVI consortium also attended the meeting, joining a wider community of organisations involved in the Social Innovations for the Upskilling of Vulnerable Youth, Especially Young People not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs) initiative.
At the heart of the discussions were the experiences of 22 projects: each one a story of experimentation, collaboration and shared learning across different countries. However, this was not only about sharing outcomes. It focused on understanding the impact – the tangible changes these initiatives create in the lives of young people from vulnerable groups.

The choice of Lisbon as the host city was no coincidence. The programme included a visit to Casa do Impacto, a co-working space that supports start-ups and innovators developing socially driven and educational solutions. Participants were equally inspired by a visit to Cascais, where local authorities and entrepreneurs have worked together to create a centre supporting the professional development of residents.
The NEVI-EVI project presentation was shared during the session.
