Jakub Sokołowski presented a paper titled “How to Prevent Yellow Vests? Assessing Carbon Tax Preferences Using an Economic Experiment” at the American and International Association for Energy Economics Conference in Chicago.
The paper explores preferences related to achieving energy security and mitigating climate change in the context of the energy crisis triggered by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The presentation took place during a session focusing on analysing the distributional effects of climate and energy policies in the United States, China, Poland, and India.
