Jakub Sokołowski presented the talk “Embedding Sustainability in Popular Storytelling: A Climate Placement Framework” at the RIFS Conference 2025 “Tough Conversations in Tough Times”, organised by the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Berlin on 3–5 December 2025. The presentation, co-authored with Franziska Mey, introduced the concept of “climate placement”, strategic integration of pro-climate cues into film and series narratives, and proposed a five-dimensional matrix to design and assess climate-related storylines in popular culture.
