The Jobs and Development Conference is a global event co-organized by the World Bank, UNU-WIDER, and the ILO, with the Network on Jobs and Development – a partnership of research institutes from various regions of the world: the Development Policy Research Unit at the University of Cape Town (DPRU, South Africa), the Institute for Structural Research (IBS, Poland), the Institute for Emerging Market Studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST IEMS, Hong Kong), and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER, India).
The conference will take place on October 8 & 9, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt. Although we particularly encourage submissions addressing the thematic topics outlined, the conference welcomes submissions on any other topics of relevance to the research domains of jobs and development policy.
