Aleksandra Prusak presented a poster at the conference ‘Warsaw in the light of scientific research’

December 3 2024
On 28-29 November 2024, a conference entitled 'Warsaw in the light of scientific research' was held, organised by the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw City Hall and the Statistical Office in Warsaw.

The conference presented research on Warsaw’s urban policy areas, such as transport, climate, space planning, social policy, and culture.

Aleksandra Prusak from IBS took part in a poster session, during which she presented a tool developed as part of the CARE – Carbon-neutral and Affordable Retrofits for Everyone in Need project in cooperation with the City of Warsaw and C40 Cities. The tool enables comprehensive diagnosis and planning of the renovation sequence of municipal buildings using administrative data. The tool presented will soon be further developed and scaled within the LIFE LOCATEE project in Rumia (Poland), Piraeus (Greece) and Torres Vedras (Portugal) to support local authorities in tackling fuel poverty by retrofitting private multi-family buildings.
