IBS contribution to the European Housing Day organised by Habitat for Humanity in Brussels.

Jakub Sokołowski participated in a panel discussion on the Social Climate Fund as part of the European Housing Day organised by Habitat for Humanity in Brussels. In the panel, joined by Milen Damianova, Coordinator of the Emissions Trading System at the European Commission, and Karolina Kolarova, Analyst at the European Venture Philanthropy Association, Jakub Sokołowski presented findings from IBS research concerning the social consequences of ambitious climate policies. The topics included Acceptance Mechanisms of Environmental Charges in Poland, Energy Poverty among Women in Poland, and Distributional Effects of Emission Taxation in Central and Eastern Europe.
