The 2015 edition of the “Przemiany” Festival, organized by Copernicus Science Centre, invited scientists, artists and everyone interested in the future of Earth to design a new epoch:

Antropocen. During the debate “The Planet” on 4th September, two panelists, Jan Witajewski-Baltvilks, an economist at Institute for Structural Research, and Arturo Vittori, a world-famous architect and designer, tried to answer the questions of whether the green economy can pay off and what tools do the new technologies provide us with so that we can control the changes we have caused.
Post-festival publication on anthropocene is now available (Design an epoch). It includes an essay titled “Paths of decarbonization” written by IBS economists: Jan Witajewski-Baltvilks and Piotr Lewandowski. The PDF version of publication is attached below. We encourage you to read it.
