The second LOCATEE on-site meeting was organised by the Municipality of Piraeus (MOP) and the University of Piraeus Research Centre (UPRC), precisely one year after the project’s kick-off meeting. All the LOCATEE consortium members participated on-site during the meeting, with Jan Frankowski and Jakub Sokołowski as representatives of the Institute for Structural Research.
The meeting served as a General Assembly to review the project’s progress after the first year of implementation and to align partners on the upcoming tasks and deliverables. The specific objectives of the meeting were to:
(1) review all the work packages,
(2) specify the activities to be undertaken by pilot municipalities,
(3) discuss the ongoing deliverables, as well as the key component of the project – Energy Poverty Monitoring System (EPMS), which forms part of the LOCATEE toolkit,
(4) discuss project risks in the context of the achievement of project indicators
(5) collect general feedback from all the partners on project management and progress, and discuss all potential improvements.

During the meeting, partners reached several important agreements and decisions that will enhance coordination and support the project’s progress in its second year. Overall, the meeting strengthened project coordination and management, clarified technical aspects related to applying the model to monitor energy poverty locally, and fostered further collaborative learning mechanisms within the consortium. It was also announced that the next Executive Meeting will be held in early 2026, followed by the next in-person consortium meeting in Autumn 2026 in Portugal.
