Research on Just Transition and Energy Poverty Presented at the Euromobi Conference

During the “Green Transformations” session (June 5, 2025) at the Europe and Mobilities (Euromobi) conference hosted by the University of Warsaw, Jakub Sokołowski presented IBS research findings.

Jakub Sokołowski presented IBS research findings on the just transition in Silesia, energy poverty, and public acceptance of climate policies across different social groups.

The research explores the socio-economic consequences of phasing out fossil fuels, assesses levels of public support for the green transition, and identifies barriers faced by households in accessing clean and affordable energy.
