ADVANCE project meeting and WholeSEM debate at UCL, London, 14th – 16th Sept.

Jan Witajewski-Baltvilks – economist at IBS – was a guest-attendant at the meeting of Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) developers participating in the ADVANCE project. IAMs are the numerical models which are designed to compare decarbonization pathways by analyzing their macroeconomic and environmental costs. The meeting was accompanied by the WholeSEM debate on the role of IAMs, which was attended by the representatives of British Government, European research institutes and energy companies.
