IBS a przygotowania rządu Chile do tegorocznej Konferencji Stron Ramowej Konwencji Narodów Zjednoczonych w Sprawie Zmian Klimatu

W dniach 20-24 kwietnia w Santiago, Chile, przeprowadziliśmy szkolenie z budowy i wykorzystania dynamicznego stochastycznego modelu równowagi ogólnej gospodarki Chile.

Model służy ocenie ex-ante skutków polityki klimatycznej i energetycznej dla gospodarki oraz emisji gazów cieplarnianych. W szkoleniu wzięli udział pracownicy Ministerstwa Finansów, Ministerstwa Środowiska, Papieskiego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu w Santiago, Uniwersytetu Chilijskiego w Santiago oraz Uniwersytetu w Kapsztadzie.

Model zbudowany został w ubiegłym roku przez IBS w ramach współpracy z MAPS Chile oraz Ministerstwem Finansów Chile i będzie wykorzystywany w dalszych pracach rządu chilijskiego nad planami polityki energetycznej i klimatycznej, w tym nad przygotowaniem stanowiska Chile na Konferencję Stron (Conference of Parties – COP) Ramowej Konwencji Narodów Zjednoczonych w Sprawie Zmian Klimatu, która w tym roku odbędzie się w Paryżu (COP22).
