Jakub Sokołowski zaprezentował artykuł pt. „Embedding Sustainability in Popular Storytelling: A Climate Placement Framework” podczas konferencji RIFS 2025 „Tough Conversations in Tough Times”, organizowanej przez Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) w Berlinie w dniach 3–5 grudnia 2025 r. Jakub Sokołowski przedstawił koncepcję lokowania klimatu, stworzoną wspólnie z Franziską Mey. Lokowanie klimatu to strategiczne wprowadzanie treści proklimatycznych do narracji oparte na pięciowymiarowej matrycy projektowania i analizy klimatycznych wątków w kulturze popularnej.
