The Fairwork project is a global initiative that assesses working conditions on digital platforms and promotes minimum standards of fairness in the platform economy. Coordinated by the Oxford Internet Institute and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, the project operates in 39 countries on five continents, including Poland. Fairwork is based on five principles: fair pay, fair conditions, transparent contracts, fair management, and worker representation. Through document analysis, employee interviews, and dialogue with platforms, Fairwork provides reliable assessments and recommendations for policymakers, companies, and consumers. Its goal is to build a more equitable future of work in which workers’ rights are respected and protected. In Poland, researchers from the Institute for Structural Research and the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw are involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
