{"id":45450,"date":"2024-10-03T14:05:22","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T12:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/?post_type=research&#038;p=45450"},"modified":"2026-02-04T12:26:54","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T11:26:54","slug":"housing-landscape-in-the-context-of-repurposing-empty-spaces-for-vulnerable-populations","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/research\/housing-landscape-in-the-context-of-repurposing-empty-spaces-for-vulnerable-populations\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing landscape in the context of repurposing empty spaces for vulnerable populations."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The project&#8217;s objective is to study the housing ecosystem in Poland, with a focus on mapping non-residential vacant properties within Polish local governments and adapting them to residential purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the project, the IBS team will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>prepare an outline of housing policies for selected local governments and attempt to\u00a0estimate the number of vacant properties based on data from heat source declarations, as\u00a0well as other information sources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participate in the works of the housing coalition #PustostanyNaDomy, led by Habitat for Humanity,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>develop a case study on the adaptation of vacant non-residential buildings into residential ones based on examples from across Poland,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>co-develop solutions and recommendations for public policy regarding the support of\u00a0adapting non-residential vacant properties for housing purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is funded by Habitat for Humanity Poland and the Laudes Foundation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","research_category":[140],"class_list":["post-45450","research","type-research","status-publish","hentry","research_category-archive-project"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
