{"id":31328,"date":"2022-09-07T12:34:59","date_gmt":"2022-09-07T10:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/?post_type=research&#038;p=31328"},"modified":"2025-07-08T17:15:23","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T15:15:23","slug":"enbloc-enabling-energy-transition-in-postsocialist-housing-cooperatives","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/research\/enbloc-enabling-energy-transition-in-postsocialist-housing-cooperatives\/","title":{"rendered":"ENBLOC &#8211; Enabling energy transition in postsocialist housing cooperatives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aims to assess the adaptive capacity of housing cooperatives in internalising energy transition based <br>on the example of Poland and Czechia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the project, we will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>collect data on housing cooperatives in Poland and Czechia based on administrative registries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explore and assess housing cooperative strategies for dealing with energy transition and energy price increases,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>disentangle power relations inside housing cooperatives and their associations with other institutional actors <br>such as heating companies and municipalities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>investigate how and to what extent housing cooperatives and their residents perceive their readiness for short- <br>and long-term energy price increases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research uses various methods, including household surveys, discrete choice experiments and several dozen interviews with decision-makers in housing cooperatives.
