The project brought together interdisciplinary teams consisting of experts of ministries, academia, business and other stakeholders from Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role of IBS was to aid the effort of the Chilean team by developing a multi-sector DSGE model (Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium) of their economy. The model was then linked with sector, microeconomic models and used to quantitatively assess the long-term (2020, 2030 and 2050) effects of GHGs mitigation policies&nbsp; on aggregated macroeconomic variables.
