We have developed and adapted to Polish conditions measures of energy poverty applied in the European Union. We work on improving the measurement methodology, conduct research on the group affected by energy poverty and present proposals for its reduction. The results of our research are described in several publications and have been presented during scientific conferences and seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Project consists of the following stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>calculation of the scale of the phenomenon in Poland with an appropriate methodology;<\/li><li>in-depth analysis of features of energy poor households in order to create effective policy instruments;<\/li><li>analysis of interactions between energy poverty and other forms of social exclusion in Poland;<\/li><li>description of regional differentiation of energy poverty in Poland (differences between rural and urban areas, differences between regions);<\/li><li>targeting of instruments to tackle energy poverty and the analysis of the effectiveness of these instruments using micro-simulation model;<\/li><li>analysis of the influence of energy poverty on air pollution and formulation of policy implications of this phenomenon.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>***<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2015 to 2016 and in 2017 (X \u2013 XII) the project was funded by a grant from the European Climate Foundation. In 2017 (I \u2013 IX) the project is funded by IBS own funds.
