Who we are?<\/a><\/h1>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n

The Institute for Structural Research (IBS) is a non-profit research foundation based in Warsaw. Since its establishment in 2006, IBS has been committed to conducting policy-relevant research in economics and other social sciences. Our main areas of interest include labour, population, and energy economics. We conduct academic and applied research, and pay special attention to the societal relevance and policy implications of our work. Issues relevant for Central and Eastern European countries, and emerging and transition economies more generally, are of particular interest to us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We disseminate our research at the international, national and local levels. We belong to the global Network for Jobs and Development and are involved in global, European, and country-specific projects in cooperation with major institutions. The IBS\u2019 researchers are also associated with leading Polish academic institutions: the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
