Olha works at the Sumy State University on the subject of sustainable development. Vasyl is a professor of economics at the University of Kyiv and specialises in research on just transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Olha-Lukash-Photo-200x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19142\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>Olha Lukash<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PhD in Economics (Economics of nature using and environmental protection), Associate Professor at the Sumy State University, with twenty years of experience in education and research in the field of environmental economics, economics and business, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research is focused on environmental economics, global sustainability, transboundary pollution, and cross-border cooperation. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications in these fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her free time, she likes drawing, swimming and travelling. She is a fan of mini-golf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>Vasyl Namoniuk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vasyl Namoniuk is an Associate Professor at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He completed PhD in International Economics. From 2009 to 2011, Vasyl was the Deputy Dean for Science at the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine. He was involved in commercial and scientific projects on international development and trade, coal phase-out and just transition of Ukraine\u2019s coal regions, and the monetization of innovative products and services. He has been a visiting professor at universities in China, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research focus is on international development, sustainable finance, and financial innovations. Vasyl has authored and co-authored near 60 publications in these fields.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Vasyl-Namoniuk_cover-photo2-300x279-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to their cooperation with IBS as part of the TIPPING + project, Olha and Vasyl obtained funding for their research projects, which they will carry out in Ukraine. These projects will focus on the main topic of TIPPING + research, i.e. the socio-economic changes taking place in coal regions.
