The selected candidate is expected to take an important role in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/research\/untangled\/\">Horizon 2020 \/ Horizon Europe research projects<\/a>, which are focused on labour and societal effects of technological change, globalization, and demographic change, and their implications for welfare states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>a candidate holding or finishing a PhD degree in economics,<\/li><li>solid background in econometrics,<\/li><li>graduate-level knowledge of labour economics,<\/li><li>proficiency in statistical or numerical software such as STATA, R, or PYTHON,<\/li><li>proficiency (C1) in English (knowledge of Polish is not necessary).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The ideal candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>has experience in micro-econometrics,<\/li><li>is able to conduct research independently,<\/li><li>has experience in applying for scientific funding (such as National Science Centre or Horizon2020\/ Horizon Europe grants).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/research-en\/\">a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment<\/a>&nbsp;(projects funded by Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Polish National Science Centre),<\/li><li>an opportunity to present research findings at international conferences and to network with researchers from leading European academic institutions,<\/li><li>a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience,<\/li><li>flexible work arrangements: work in our office in Warsaw combined with remote work,<\/li><li>a benefits scheme: a healthcare package, Multisport Card.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants are invited to submit their application (CV, a cover letter, a consent to the processing of the personal data ) by email: rekrutacja@ibs.org.pl until&nbsp;<strong>August 31<\/strong>, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*The controller of the personal data provided in your application is the Institute for Structural Research Science Foundation, with its registered office in Warsaw, Irysowa 18c.
