Guests from governmental agencies, PES offices, as well as NGOs working with youth, listened to&nbsp;<strong>Iga Magda&#8217;s<\/strong>&nbsp;introductory remarks and three presentations on the subject of youth employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Iga Magda<\/strong>&nbsp;introduced the &#8220;Youth Employment PartnerSHIP&#8221;, funded by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eeagrants.org\/youthemployment\">the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment<\/a>, and named the partners implementing the project. She then described the main goals of the &#8220;Youth Employment PartherSHIP&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>evaluating employment initiatives targeting youth in Spain, Hungary, Italy and Poland;<\/li><li>promoting policy evaluation and the use of administrative data in policy evaluation;<\/li><li>creating a transnational research network on youth employment policies;<\/li><li>disseminating policy lessons, as well as best practices to policymakers and NGOs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Next,researchers from institutions implementing the project presented the newest research on youth employment in the European labour market.&nbsp;<strong>Lucia Gorjon<\/strong>&nbsp;(University of the Basque Country),&nbsp;<strong>Astrid Kunze<\/strong>(Norwegian School of Economics) and&nbsp;<strong>Francesco Trentini<\/strong>&nbsp;(University of Torino) delivered presentations&nbsp;on the impact of a minimum income scheme in Spain, flexible hours for young mother as well as traps&nbsp;of being a temp in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Summary and materials from the event are available&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/yepartnership.ibs.org.pl\/e\/youth-employment-partnership-special-session\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5696,"template":"","news_type":[329,296],"class_list":["post-7580","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","news_type-events","news_type-labour-market"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>&quot;Youth emplyoment partnerSHIP&quot; has been launched!
