At the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;<strong>Christian Bodewig<\/strong>&nbsp;(The World Bank) presented the report&nbsp;<em>&#8220;Growing United: Upgrading Europe&#8217;s Convergence Machine&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;. He showed that technological change is making jobs more intensive in non-routine cognitive tasks. Next,&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Piotr Lewandowski<\/strong>&nbsp;(IBS) presented new IBS Policy Paper \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/app\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IBS_Policy_Paper_02_2018_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>How does technology change the nature of work? Poland vs. the EU<\/em><\/a>\u201d with in-depth analysis of the change in the nature of work in Poland.&nbsp;At the end,&nbsp;<strong>Beata Lubos<\/strong>&nbsp;from the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology&nbsp;compared the World Bank and IBS results with&nbsp;the Polish Strategy of Productivity which is being prepared by the Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentations and summary are available on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/events\/the-polish-launch-of-the-world-bank-report-growing-united-upgrading-europes-convergence-machine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the seminar website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5264,"template":"","news_type":[296,356,326],"class_list":["post-7391","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","news_type-labour-market","news_type-publication","news_type-seminar"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>How does technology change the nature of work?
