We also discussed: the inequality of income opportunities, the income share accrued to the top-earning 1% of Poles, public expenditure, minimum wage and gender pay gap. The presentations were given by Micha\u0142 Brzezi\u0144ski&nbsp;(UW), Pawe\u0142 Bukowski&nbsp;(LSE), Jakub Sawulski&nbsp;(IBS, UEP) and Karolina Goraus-Ta\u0144ska&nbsp;(UW). At the seminar Iga Magda (IBS, SGH) showed that in 2016 unemployment rate decreased both for men and women but among women it was to a larger extent. Matteo Morgandi (The World Bank) presented that, in its current form, the system of family benefits in Poland is likely to discourage parents from working, especially when we account for the cost of private child care. During the seminar there were also a presentation by Micha\u0142 Myck (CenEA) and a panel discussion.
