The European Commission \u201cCountry Report \u2013 Poland 2017\u201d will be presented by&nbsp;<strong>Wallis Goelen<\/strong>&nbsp;(Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, EC) and&nbsp;<strong>Wojciech Paczy\u0144ski&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;(Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, EC). The latest research findings will be presented by:&nbsp;<strong>Piotr Lewandowski<\/strong>&nbsp;(Institute for Structural Research),&nbsp;<strong>Agnieszka Ch\u0142o\u0144-Domi\u0144czak<\/strong>&nbsp;(Warsaw School of Economics) and&nbsp;<strong>Joanna Tyrowicz<\/strong>&nbsp;(University of Warsaw, National Bank of Poland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion will focus on the key policies related to population ageing, including changes in retirement age, labour market participation of women and people aged over 50 years, as well as changes in the indexation of pensions. Speakers include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Secretary of State in Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy &#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Stanis\u0142aw Szwed<\/strong>,<\/li><li>Representatives of the European Commission &#8211;<strong>&nbsp;Istvan Szekely<\/strong>&nbsp;(DG ECFIN) and&nbsp;<strong>Wallis Goelen<\/strong>&nbsp;(DG EMPL),<\/li><li><strong>Joanna Stachura<\/strong>&nbsp;(Ministry of Finance)<\/li><li><strong>Nicola Brandt<\/strong>&nbsp;(Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development),<\/li><li><strong>Janusz Jab\u0142onowski<\/strong>&nbsp;(National Bank of Poland),<\/li><li><strong>Irena Kotowska<\/strong>&nbsp;(Warsaw School of Economics),<\/li><li><strong>Pawe\u0142 Wojciechowski&nbsp;<\/strong>(Polish Social Security Institution),<\/li><li>Representatives of employers\u2019 and trade unions\u2019 associations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will be held on 9<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;March 2017 in Novotel Warszawa Centrum, Marsza\u0142kowska Str. 94\/98 (Warsaw).
