All representatives of the gathered project are working toward a common goal: supporting young people who face barriers in the labour market and helping them build the skills they need for the future. Representatives of the NEVI-EVI consortium also attended the meeting, joining a wider community of organisations involved in the Social Innovations for the Upskilling of Vulnerable Youth, Especially Young People not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs) initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the discussions were the experiences of 22 projects: each one a story of experimentation, collaboration and shared learning across different countries. However, this was not only about sharing outcomes. It focused on understanding the impact – the tangible changes these initiatives create in the lives of young people from vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n\n

The choice of Lisbon as the host city was no coincidence. The programme included a visit to Casa do Impacto,<\/a> a co-working space that supports start-ups and innovators developing socially driven and educational solutions. Participants were equally inspired by a visit to Cascais, where local authorities and entrepreneurs have worked together to create a centre<\/a> supporting the professional development of residents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
