Social Security Protection in Polish Platform Work a Year Ahead of the Platform Work Directive"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The study assesses<strong>&nbsp;seven platforms operating in the ride\u00ad\u2011hailing, food delivery, and domestic care sectors<\/strong>, evaluating them against the five Fairwork principles: fair pay, fair conditions, fair contracts, fair management, and fair representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report finds that working conditions have not improved compared to the 2024 Fairwork report. Platform workers continue to face serious challenges, including pay instability and lack of transparency, limited access to basic social protections and insurance, and underdeveloped systems of workplace support. These issues are further compounded by the complex contractual arrangements prevalent in platform work and certain features of the Polish social security regulatory framework.
