The latest NEVI-EVY webinar brought together over 100 participants to explore innovative ways of supporting young people with disabilities in the labor market. The event, hosted by the Aktywizacja Foundation, highlighted the power of the Job Crafting Model<\/strong>\u2014a method designed to help individuals shape their own career paths and gain confidence in employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session began with an introduction to the NEETcraft Initiative and the concept of Job Crafting<\/strong>, led by experts Anna Gruszczy\u0144ska and Agnieszka Ja\u015bkiewicz-K\u0142osowska. Participants learned about five key areas of Job Crafting<\/strong> \u2014 tasks, cognition, relationships, environment, and development \u2014 and tested their knowledge in an interactive quiz on disability rights and employment in the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The core of the webinar focused on the first version of the Job Crafting Model<\/strong>, which consists of four stages: recruitment, pre-employment preparation, employment support, and job retention. The model emphasizes personalization, flexibility, and continuous guidance. A case study illustrated how the approach can empower young people with disabilities\u2014such as those facing anxiety or social challenges\u2014to develop skills, strengthen self-confidence, and find meaningful opportunities, including remote work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final part of the workshop, participants split into English- and Polish-speaking groups to discuss how the model could be replicated across EU member states<\/strong>. Their recommendations will contribute to shaping the final version of the Job Crafting<\/strong> Model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting concluded with practical information on accessing materials and tools, as well as warm thanks to the attendees who took part until the very end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
