During the conference, the Polish-Czech ENBLOC project team presented the latest research results on energy transition in housing cooperatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan Frankowski and Aleksandra Prusak from IBS gave a presentation on residents’ support for and resistance to prosumer solutions in multi-family buildings. The study<\/a> shows that the energy transition in multi-family buildings faces institutional, regulatory and financial barriers. Where energy transition does take place, it usually takes a centralised form, with limited resident participation, and is motivated by savings rather than climate concerns.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wojciech Be\u0142ch from the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT) presented the results of research on energy-related behaviour among residents of multi-family buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the event was funded by a grant from the National Science Centre as part of the OPUS competition in the Weave programme (agreement no. 2021\/43\/I\/HS4\/03185).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
