{"id":50861,"date":"2025-07-29T16:59:07","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T14:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=50861"},"modified":"2025-07-29T17:06:39","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T15:06:39","slug":"an-interactive-map-of-the-labour-market-situation-of-vulnerable-groups-in-eu-countries","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/news\/an-interactive-map-of-the-labour-market-situation-of-vulnerable-groups-in-eu-countries\/","title":{"rendered":"An interactive map of the labour market situation of vulnerable groups in EU countries"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The map contains data to monitor the implementation status of EU directives that Poland is implementing or will implement soon, e.g.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>on equality of work, women on boards, and equal treatment in employment and occupation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is also a tool for comparing the situation in Poland on these issues with the situation in other countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This map is all indicators related to inequality and discrimination in the areas of gender, migration, disability in one place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is also possible to compare how the situation within these issues has changed over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"423\" src=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/interaktywna-mapa_-obrazek--1024x423.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/interaktywna-mapa_-obrazek--1024x423.png 1024w, https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/interaktywna-mapa_-obrazek--300x124.png 300w, https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/interaktywna-mapa_-obrazek--768x317.png 768w, https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/interaktywna-mapa_-obrazek-.png 1518w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The chosen parameters make it possible to visualise and deepen the knowledge provided by the studies of IBS researchers within the <a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/research\/paths2include-pathways-to-include-persons-in-vulnerable-situations\/\">Paths2Include<\/a> project and other labour market research carried out at the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The map is available on the Path2Include project website \u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/paths2include.eu\/interactive-map\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three-year international <a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/research\/paths2include-pathways-to-include-persons-in-vulnerable-situations\/\">Paths2Include<\/a> project examines various forms of discrimination in European labour markets and the enhancement of employment opportunities for people at risk of exclusion from the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interdependencies between different risk factors contributing to the vulnerability of certain groups of people to labour market exclusion are analysed. Paths2Include also helps to understand how the institutional context affects the labour force participation of people at risk of exclusion. It explores how the national context influences discrimination, i.e. discriminatory attitudes among employers and employment services towards groups at particular risk of labour market exclusion in each country. Thus, broadening knowledge on policies to reduce inequalities between groups doing well in the labour market and those experiencing difficulties in integrating into employment.
