Katarzyna Lipowska from IBS presented findings from a study on parental burnout and flexible working arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Flexible working arrangements significantly correlate with parental burnout and explain additional variance beyond that of psychological risks and resources. While flexitime and working from home matter more for fathers\u2019 burnout, mothers are less prone to parental burnout when they can easily take a day off. The importance of taking a day off easily for mothers\u2019 burnout might stem from the fact that they are usually the ones to stay with a sick child.
