The Economist (Post-Doc) will be a member of the team working on projects related to energy transition and energy and climate policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PhD candidate (in the final stages of a PhD) or holder of a PhD in economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid knowledge of microeconomics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in running discrete and conjoint choice experiments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in microeconomic modelling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency with statistical and computational software such as STATA, MATLAB, R<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional assets:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of energy economics and\/or climate policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research experience in labour markets, living standards, housing sector, inequalities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in conducting survey-based research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in implementing research grants (e.g., NCN, Horizon grants)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We offer:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/esearch-en\/current-projects\/\">Work on international and national research projects<\/a> (Horizon, NCN OPUS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in conducting independent research and in writing and publishing academic papers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in international scientific conferences and collaboration with research partners from leading European institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment contract (following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncn.gov.pl\/sites\/default\/files\/pliki\/uchwaly-rady\/2024\/uchwala23_2024-zal1.pdf\">NCN OPUS regulations<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible working hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A benefits scheme: a healthcare package, Multisport Card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your application (<strong>CV and cover letter in English<\/strong>, a consent to the processing of the personal data) to: <a href=\"mailto:rekrutacja@ibs.org.pl\">rekrutacja@ibs.org.pl<\/a> by 6th of June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">*The controller of the personal data provided in your application is the Institute for Structural Research Science Foundation, with its registered office in Warsaw, Irysowa 18c.
