Why should you get your data back?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Having access to your own data can be beneficial. Couriers can see what information the platform collects about their performance, such as average delivery times, ratings from customers and order acceptance rates. This allows them to assess whether the data is complete and correct, and whether the platform is using hidden algorithms that affect their performance. Detecting such mechanisms is difficult, however, because companies treat their algorithms as intellectual property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the platform has erroneous or outdated data (e.g., incorrect earnings accruals, mislabeled order cancellations), the courier has the right to request correction. The recovered information can also serve as evidence in the case of wrongful suspension or removal from the platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can recovered data help you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In practice, the scope of data shared varies from platform to platform. Some data files, while complex and difficult to interpret, allow you to better understand your own work patterns in the first place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To facilitate the analysis of this data, we have created a unique application for couriers to help read and interpret it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to retrieve your data?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, you need to apply for access to your data. We describe the entire procedure here (the website is in Polish, but you can use the “translate” option in your browser):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fastest way to get your data is from Uber (including UberEats).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the received file should be uploaded to the corresponding application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
