{"id":10607,"date":"2016-11-29T02:03:45","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T01:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/events\/fuel-poverty-in-poland-from-theory-to-practice\/"},"modified":"2023-01-01T23:24:41","modified_gmt":"2023-01-01T22:24:41","slug":"fuel-poverty-in-poland-from-theory-to-practice","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/ibs.org.pl\/en\/events\/fuel-poverty-in-poland-from-theory-to-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Fuel poverty in Poland \u2013 from theory to practice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We proved that commonly used measures of fuel poverty (LIHC, subjective measure) answer different aspects of fuel poverty: lack of thermal comfort, difficulties in paying energy bills, low income and poor living conditions. Thus, depending on the choice of measure, different groups of Polish households are at greatest risk. &nbsp; During the first session of the seminar the experts in the fields of Social Policy, Sociology and Energy commented our research. Then, during the second session, we were discussing the place of fuel poverty in public policy. In a panel discussion took part:&nbsp;<strong>Ms Anna Bednarska<\/strong>&nbsp;(Energy Regulatory Office),&nbsp;<strong>Mr Zbigniew Bondarczuk&nbsp;<\/strong>(Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction),&nbsp;<strong>Mr Marcin Chrapek&nbsp;<\/strong>(Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy),&nbsp;<strong>Jacek Grunt-Mejer<\/strong>&nbsp;(The Municipal Office of Warsaw),&nbsp;<strong>Mr Boles\u0142aw Meluch<\/strong>&nbsp;(The Polish Bank Association) and<strong>&nbsp;Mr Arkadiusz Szyma\u0144ski<\/strong>&nbsp;(Ministry of Energy).
