The workshop was divided into two parts: one dedicated to advances in heterogeneous labour market modelling and the other to new empirical findings. \u00a0 In the first session\u00a0<strong>Leo Kaas<\/strong>\u00a0from the University of Konstanz showed his work in progress on a model of firm dynamics with frictional product and labour markets. Next,\u00a0<strong>Marek Antosiewicz<\/strong>\u00a0(IBS) and\u00a0<strong>Jacek Suda<\/strong>\u00a0(NBP) presented a heterogeneous firm model of on-the-job search with financial frictions. The model is the result of research conducted under National Science Foundation grant entitled &#8220;Development of macroeconomic modelling methods: Incorporating ex-post heterogeneity to DSGE models\u201d. \u00a0 During the empirical part of the workshop\u00a0<strong>Marcel Jansen<\/strong>\u00a0from the Autonomous University of Madrid presented recent findings from Spain concerning job losses resulting from lack of credit.
