The report presents a synthesis of the results of research carried out in three stages of the project "Varmia and Masuria 2020 - scenarios for the development and a forecasting-simulation tool". The primary objective of this paper is to assess the development prospects of the voivodeship in the years 2010-2020, based on the analysis of processes of macro- and microeconomic in the region, including the results of the forecasts and scenarios prepared for development.
