Publication date: 16.05.2008
In this paper, we try to identify both those areas, which are a strong side of Warsaw to create, develop and attract human capital, as well as those in which Warsaw is different for the disadvantage from the other cities in Poland and on the trends and models observed in other countries of the EU and the OECD. We are looking at both some quantitative indicators, showing the overall level and quality of education of the inhabitants of Warsaw at various levels of education, but also the activities of municipal institutions in promoting human capital development in areas such as education, lifelong learning, culture and sport.
