Energy mix 2050. Scenario analysis for Poland

We invite you to read the latest report of the IBS experts, dedicated to the future of the Polish energy mix. The report was created under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy within the National Programme for the Development of Low Carbon Economy. We analyze alternative proposals for changes in the structure of energy production and consumption in Poland in the coming years, presenting the main differences and similarities between them. An important element of the report are the conclusions of the public debate held on November 17, 2011 by the Institute for Structural Research, demosEuropa - Centre for European Strategy and the Ministry of Economy. The report concludes with recommendations concerning the optimal shape of the state energy policy in the perspective of years 2030 and 2050. We also present proposals for topics for further analysis and subsequent debate on the Polish energy mix, which is scheduled for autumn 2012.
