Assessing the benefits gained by the EU-15 countries as a result of the implementation of cohesion policy in Poland - Update 2010

This report provides an update of the results of comprehensive study, conducted in 2008-2009 by the Institute for Structural Research for the Ministry of Regional Development, devoted to the benefits achieved by the EU-15 countries as a result of the implementation of EU cohesion policy in Poland. The analysis covered both the benefits that have been derived directly by the companies from these countries to participate in policy implementation, as well as the whole of their economies - because in the study  both the micro- and macroeconomic issues were analyzed. It should be emphasized that the study did not include the full impact of the Polish accession to the EU, which is certainly much higher, but only isolated effect of cohesion policy implementation.
